At last, LG is getting into the Android act. The first entry is a surprise -- an Android phone for budget buyers. Amazing, yes amazing, and there is no great hullbaloo with this new model -- it looks very much like an LG phone. It's slim, curvaceous and neither too big nor too small. Surprisingly, the GT540 runs Android 1.6, not the latest version but with some tweaking by LG. The image gallery has some slick 3D effects. Overall, this is a powerful android mobile.
