Yes, you are covered by our Warranty

d-Shop stands by the products it sells. We will replace or repair products found to be faulty. The following conditions apply:

 

   1. This extended warranty program is valid only for the orginal purchaser. It will not cover physical and non-physical damages, which include accident, use of supplies or parts not meeting the product's specifications, misuse, damage due to shipment, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, removal, installation and set-up service charges by any third party, and failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.


   2. i. We do have the right to decide whether we will offer repair, replace, or issue a refund on the defective unit. Our extended warranty sevices do not apply to any product that has had its serial/ IMEI number altered, defaced or removed.

      ii. Any defect occurring after the expiration of the warranty period is not accepted.

      iii. Before you return your items, you must contact d-Shop so we can check for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). Any returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted by us. Customers are responsible for the package until it arrives at our offices.

      iv. We request you securely pack the product in a box using bubblewrap. Please return the entire defective product with all the accessories. Missing items may cause the failure for the warranty procedure.

      v. We will cover the shipping fee for sending the items back to customers.


   3. i. We suggest you ship the return item via an insured carrier and obtain a tracking number for your package.
 

If you want a refund

d-Shop will refund the full price of any product, minus transaction fees, within seven days of delivery. In order to receive the refund, the product or products in question must first be returned in the condition in which they were received. d-Shop cannot take responsibility for manufacturer’s claims about the performance and build of their products.

If there is a price dispute

All d-Shop prices are clearly shown against each listed item. In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, d-Shop reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product in question. If you have already paid for the product before the error is noticed, d-Shop will issue you with a full refund. In such instances, any product must be returned to d-Shop.

Where do we source our products?

Many of the products sold by d-Shop are sourced from local and intgernational distributors. and wholesalers The reason we parallel import some products from overseas is because we can sometimes get a better deal for you and procure many items that are simply unavailable through normal New Zealand retail outlets. You win by getting top-quality products at the best prices we can manage. The products are all new. d-Shop purchases are typically delivered within seven working days. In some cases it can take a little longer to deliver. In rare circustances a product could take up to 14 days to reach you.

If you want to buy from outside New Zealand

We have tried accepting orders from outside New Zealand but we have found that around 98% of them are from fraudsters. So, sorry, we no longer accept orders from outside New Zealand. Too risky.

Is your privacy protected?

d-Shop has no access to your credit card details. All transactions are handled by Westpac’s secure transaction facilities. Because d-Shop must send you the products you buy, it must have access to your physical address, email address and phone number. d-Shop will not use this information for any other purpose except where you give your permission. d-Shop may ask you if you want to receive a RSS communication or newsletter. No communications will be sent unless you request them.

How to pay

We have tried to make our payment setup as painless as possible and follow the steps indicated. If you want to delete a product, just click on the red minus sign. You will see your purchases listed to the left in My cart. d-Shop takes the credit cards shown at left. If you don't want to use a credit card, use the direct payment option. Where possible we include photos and what we believe are worthwhile videos relating to every product. We try to cover a multitude of user experiences of products, both critical and full of praise. Our videos come from YouTube. You are welcome to do your own research if you need further information.

Our pricing policies

Let's make our views clear: we don't aim to be the cheapest retailer of every product we sell. What we do aim for, though, is for a happy customer experience. As we see it, many internet resellers will have a very short life because they are making no allowance for service. d-Shop's aim is to make sure that all our products are working for our customers. We can't do that if we allow ourselves practically no margins. Our prices are highly -- very highly -- competitive but they are also designed to give us some room for customers who need extra help. We will not sell with ridiculously low margins that would see us out of business in a very short time. Let us know if you have a product that does not meet the specifications as we have outlined them. We are there to keep you happy -- and we want you to come back next time you buy. Videos and photos

We try to include photos and video feeds to go with products. Be aware, however, that these video feeds are mostly from YouTube and are usually sourced from Europe or the United States. This means that the colour of the products and some of the components, particularly the mobile networks and the GPS software, may differ from what is available in New Zealand. The videos are intended to give you a good idea of how the products look and feel. For GPS use in New Zealand or elsewhere, you will have to source software with mapping for your region. New Zealand's principal mobile networks are Telecom and Vodafone.
